Edison Diamond Disc 80520 (c.1916) Chalmers / Apollo Quartet – collectible record

Authentic Edison Diamond Disc phonograph record, catalog 80520, issued circa 1916, intact and unmodified with both original sides and labels.

• “List! The Cherubic Host” (from The Holy City, A. R. Gaul)
Baritone: Thomas Chalmers – with female choir & orchestra
• “In the Garden” (G. Austin Miles)
Apollo Quartet of Boston – male voices with orchestra

This is the characteristic thick Edison disc (~5 mm, 418 g), with embossed marking Thomas A. Edison and the typical dark glossy surface of the Diamond Disc series — top recording technology of the phonograph era.

The disc retains authentic patina and surface scratches consistent with an age of over 100 years, with no breaks, cracks, or holes. Suitable for Edison phonograph collection, exhibition, or vintage music decoration.

Note: Edison Diamond Discs are significantly thicker and heavier than common phonograph records and were intended exclusively for Edison phonographs with diamond needles.
