In previous generations of Hikvision IP Recording NVRs (NI-Q, NI-K, etc.), we could connect Acusense technology IP Cameras, achieving artificial intelligence functions like Motion Detection 2.0, based on deep learning algorithms running on the cameras. That is, we could not distinguish the cause that triggered the alarm (human, vehicle, or other source) unless the camera supported Acusense technology to provide these functions.

Now, in the new NXI-K AcuSense NVR series, the Motion Detection 2.0 artificial intelligence algorithms are also offered by the NVR itself, across all channels of the recorder, even for simple IP cameras, reducing false alarms with human/vehicle classification. The HIKVISION Motion Detection 2.0 algorithm records all motion events, like the traditional algorithm. However, it also records the cause of the alarm, whether it is due to a person, vehicle, or other reason.

In the playback bar, events are marked differently for each cause, making it easy and quick to search for actual events during playback. Additionally, notifications sent to Hik-Connect or iVMS-4200 are limited only to events involving humans and vehicles.

The DS-7608NXI-K1(D) NVR supports up to 8 IP cameras, with a maximum resolution of 12MPixels. The total incoming bandwidth of connected cameras (Incoming Bandwidth) is 80Mbps. The total outgoing bandwidth (Outgoing Bandwidth) is also 80 Mbps. It features one (1) HDMI output up to 4K resolution (3840 × 2160) and one VGA output with a maximum resolution of 1920x1080. Supports decoding (simultaneous channel playback) of 8 channels.

Also, note that it can accept up to 1 SATA HDD (max 16TB - hard drive not included), and has one analog audio input/output (RCA In / RCA Out).

The Acusense NVRs of the NXI-K series also have the ability to detect and recognize faces from 1 simple IP camera or from 4 IP cameras supporting face capture. Images are compared against a database of up to 10,000 photos, organized into libraries (up to 16). Each image must be up to 512 kB in size, and the total database size should be less than 150 MB.

It can be set to trigger an alarm if a face belonging to a blacklist appears or if a foreign face appears. During playback, filters based on photo or name can be selected for easy search of recorded videos.

⚠️ Human/vehicle classification functions on simple cameras and face recognition cannot be selected simultaneously (choose one of the two).
