Authentic signed work by the renowned Greek painter Christos Pallantzas. It is a still life with oil on canvas. The dimensions of the work are 20x30 cm, and with the frame, it measures 39.5x49.5 cm. I sent photos and contacted the artist by phone, who confirmed that the work is his and informed me that the frame was also designed by him. The signature and the date (1999) are visible in the lower left corner in red. The work and the frame are in excellent condition.

Born in Larissa, 1962.
1983-89 Studied painting at A.S.K.T. in Athens with professors D. Mytaras, D. Kokkinidis, and N. Kessanli, Byzantine iconography (iconography), fresco (fresh) with professor K. Xinopoulos, and mosaic with G. ValaVaniadis. Art history with professor M. Lampraki-Plaka, architectural history, and rhythmology with professors I. Karatzoglou and S. Kontaratos. Introduction to Aesthetics, Art Theory, and Philosophy with professor P. Christodoulidis. Pedagogical Psychology and didactics with professor D. Afentakis.
1990-92 Continued postgraduate studies at the Ecole Nationale Superieure des Beaux-Arts de Paris with teacher Pierre Carron on a French government scholarship.
1988-90 Worked as a museum educator painter in educational programs of the Ministry of Culture THE BIRTH OF WRITING.
1992-93 Taught painting in the first three grades of the 25th Peristeri Primary School.
1997-98 Taught drawing and painting at the Department of Applied Painting at AKTO colleges.
2011-13 Worked at the Child Psychiatry Clinic of the University Hospital 'Agia Sofia' as an art-therapist in the program for Promoting Mental Health of children and adolescents with chronic physical illness.
Provides private lessons in painting and drawing to prospective students of the School of Fine Arts.
His works are housed in the National Gallery, the Florina Gallery, the Kouvoutzaki Gallery, the Frysira Museum, in collections of the Agricultural Bank, Papastratos, AGET Hraklis, and other public and private collections in Greece and abroad.
He has illustrated many calendars for private companies and was selected among the most important Greek artists to represent modern Greek art at the 2004 Olympic Games.
