WMF antique silver-plated container for spoon sweets with compartments for spoons, late 19th century

Antique silver-plated container for spoon sweets from the German company WMF (Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik), from the late 19th century. At the bottom of the rim, it bears the WMF stamp certifying its silver-plated construction.
In the center, there are two separate compartments for different spoon sweets, and around the rim, there are 12 slots with notches for teaspoons or dessert forks.
The total height is approximately 20 centimeters (including the handle at the top) and the vessel has intricate decoration with relief designs.
It comes from my great-grandmother's dowry, who lived in Egypt. It then "joined" my grandmother's dowry and subsequently my mother's – always in Egypt.
Given its age, it is in very good condition and has the patina of time that gives it special value.
An excellent decorative item for showcases, cabinets, dining rooms, but – why not? – also suitable for use.
